OUR DRIVING EXPERIENCES AND DRIVING LESSONS All the sessions at our Under 17 Driving events are adapted to meet the needs of the person attending - from a 14 year old who hasn't sat in the driving seat before, to someone older who is making the most of a quiet practice area away from public roads. DRIVING EXPERIENCES: for young people age 14+ who haven't driven before and who are visiting us once - the basics of car control with a first drive. DRIVING LESSONS: for learners age 14+ who will be visiting us on a more regular basis - developing driving skills including junctions and reversing manoeuvres, before the learner moves onto public roads at 17+. DRIVING REFRESHERS: for qualified drivers who are perhaps looking to return to the road after a break - support to meet the specific needs of each individual. All our driving sessions are in either a manual or an automatic dual control car, that is fully insured for learners from age 14, with a DVSA registered Driving Instructor. The minimum age for our driving experiences and driving lessons is 14, with a minimum height of approx. 1.5m / 4'8" - there isn't an upper age limit! OUR VENUES All our venues have been selected as they are spacious and well away from public roads. This means our young drivers have a large area where they can safely start to develop their driving skills, and to prepare for on-road driving lessons when they are old enough. Full details about your venue will be sent to you once you have booked. OUR DRIVING INSTRUCTORS All our Driving Instructors are registered with the DVSA - meaning they have passed an 'enhanced level' DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a 'criminal record' check, and have been passed as a 'fit and proper' person. All our Driving Instructors wear orange hi-vis vests so they are easy to spot - apart from Keith and Gill our co-founders who wear yellow hi-vis so they are even more easy to spot.
