DRIVING LESSONS FROM AGE 14
Through KC Under 17 Driving Keith and Gill offer driving lessons for those ready to get behind the wheel, but too young to get on the road!
Our driving lessons for under 17s are designed around 4 key areas:
Support and guidance for each young person as they start to learn the basics of car control - including the skills of observation, awareness and anticipation
Taking opportunities to encourage future drivers to start developing an understanding of driving theory - knowledge essential for becoming a safe and responsible driver
Preparing each young person for the move on to public roads - once they reach their 17th birthday
Perhaps most importantly - making learning these essential life-skills a fun, enjoyable and memorable experience!
CO-FOUNDERS
KEITH CAUNTER
Founder of the highly successful KC Driving School, and co-founder of KC Under 17 Driving
Keith is a very experienced Driving Instructor, and has been providing manual driving lessons to learners in the Nuneaton area for approx. 20 years.
He also has many years experience training those who are learning to become Driving Instructors - some of who are now part of his growing driving school team.
GILL BUTTERY
Co-founder of KC Under 17 Driving, and a fully qualified and experienced Driving Instructor
Gill is one of Keith's ex-trainees, and has been providing automatic driving lessons to a wide range of learners in the Lutterworth and Rugby areas for approx. 5 years.
She always has a waiting list including many learners who get in touch following recommendations, usually from friends who previously passed their driving tests after driving lessons with Gill.

CATHERINE CAUNTER
Child Protection Professional
Catherine is our Lead Welfare Officer / Designated Safeguarding Officer.
She has many years experience in Child Protection, gained through training and working in various professional roles with young people.
She has provided us with valuable advice when setting up our policies and procedures, and is there for us to call on if required.
OUR DRIVING INSTRUCTOR TEAM
DVSA registered Driving Instructors
All our Driving Instructors are registered with the DVSA.
This means that they have by law been assessed as being a 'fit and proper' person, which includes having passed an 'enhanced' level DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and a 'criminal record' check.

KC UNDER 17 DRIVING
Driving lessons specifically designed for young learners under 17.
Driving lessons for young people age 14 to 16, with a focus on introducing the skills of car control, observation and awareness in a safe but fun environment.
Plus an opportunity for those age 17+ to practise and develop their driving skills, on a quieter site away from open roads.
KC DRIVING SCHOOL
Keith Caunter's highly successful driving school, providing lessons across Warwickshire since 2009.
Manual and automatic driving lessons for provisional licence holders age 17+, plus training for those working towards qualifying as a Driving Instructor.
It will also soon include online driving theory lessons, designed for those who need a little extra help with the DVSA theory test.
