Driving experiences and lessons at venues in the Warwickshire area - away from busy roads and traffic
For under 17s, learner drivers age 17+, AND full licence holders who are ready to refresh or improve their driving and car care skills
UNDER 17 DRIVING LESSONS
Our DRIVING EXPERIENCES are:
- Under 17 Driving Lessons
- specifically designed for younger learners and those with additional needs
- held at a private venue away from public roads.
Minimum age: 14 years, minimum height: approx. 4ft 8" / 1.5m.
We welcome individual and group bookings.
Contact us to discuss any specific requirements you may have.
All our Driving Instructors are DVSA registered, and have fully insured dual control cars.
INTRODUCTION TO THE DRIVING SEAT
All our young learners start with an Introduction session, so they can safely move into the driving seat and take their first drive.
Your Driving Instructor will adapt the lesson as needed, depending on the age and needs of the learner - ensuring each young person starts to develop their driving skills, while having an amazing experience they will remember for a long time!
DEVELOPING DRIVING SKILLS
After completing the Introduction session, our young learners are ready to work on developing their driving skills.
Each time they return they will practise their driving and do an activity to develop and improve their skills, for example: reversing, navigating a roundabout, parking manoeuvres, or completing a pre-set course.
CELEBRATE A BIRTHDAY OR CHRISTMAS WITH US!
What better way to celebrate from age 14 - a driving lesson appropriate for their age, taking into account any additional needs.
You can either book them in for a specific date and time, or choose a Gift Voucher so they can choose when to visit us - PLUS you can also order the official DVSA theory books for them to receive on the day, so they can keep learning after their visit!
LEARNER DRIVERS AND FULL LICENCE HOLDERS
DRIVING SKILLS AND MANOEUVRES
For learner drivers age 17+
There are many reasons a LEARNER DRIVER may prefer to spend some time in a quieter environment, before developing their driving skills on the public roads:
a lack of confidence / anxiety
a previous bad experience
previous difficulties eg. with manual controls
Our Driving Instructor will discuss with the learner driver:
their previous driving experience
any difficulties they have had previously
how they will tackle those difficulties together
what the learner wants to achieve from the lesson
DRIVING SKILLS AND MANOEUVRES
For full licence holders
There are many reasons a FULL LICENCE HOLDER might want the support of a Driving Instructor in a quieter environment, before practising their driving skills on the public roads:
they never got the hang of eg. parallel parking
it's been a while since they last drove
they have an automatic licence and want to try manual
Our Driving Instructor will discuss with the driver:
their previous driving experience
any difficulties they have had previously
how they will tackle those difficulties together
what the driver wants to achieve from the session

OUR MOST COMMON FAQS
WHAT AGES ARE THESE DRIVING EXPERIENCES SUITABLE FOR?
Our driving lessons have been designed for young people from 14 years old, but as a parent or guardian you are the best judge of if they are suitable for your young person.
For practical reasons the minimum height is approx. 4ft 8" / 1.5m tall.
Please let us know about any disabilities or learning difficulties in advance.
WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY OF THE DRIVING EVENT?
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your driving lesson is due to start, so we have time to meet you properly.
The young person and those with them will be introduced to their Driving Instructor, and the driving experience will begin.
A parent or guardian needs to stay on-site or close by for the duration of the activity.
WHY ARE THE PRICES HIGHER THAN FOR NORMAL DRIVING LESSONS?
Provisional licence holders age 17+ are allowed to learn to drive on public roads, so driving lessons charges cover income for the Driving Instructor and a contribution for the use of their dual control car.
Those age under 17 are not allowed to drive on public roads, so as well as the costs above there is also a contribution for the hire of a suitable spacious venue.
